Museum Events

Visit the tabby ruins at Wormsloe State Historic Site in Savannah for an exciting weekend of public archaeology! On May 30th and 31st, we will join the Laboratory of Archaeology's Enfulletv-Mocvse Field School, UGA Center for Research and Education at Wormsloe (CREW), and Wormsloe State Historic Site for remote sensing technique demonstrations and a variety of fun archaeology and natural history themed activities!

Ground penetrating radar demonstrations will take place each day at 10:30 AM and will be followed by a LiDAR drone demonstration at 12:30 PM. Then, at 2:00 each day, we will join a public archaeology talk by GMNH Executive Director Dr. Victor Thompson at the visitor center.

This event is welcome to all ages and is free with purchase of park entrance!
