They are very interested in what it takes to "build" and sustain a museum, such as the GMNH, as well as ethics in collections management. Their primary research interests lie in human skeletal biology and bone morphology. Much of their research has concerned intersex- and transgender-inclusive sexing methods in bioarchaeology and forensic anthropology, a topic they seek to continue with at the graduate level.
